Giving Professional Pictures Another Try

Last week I had the pleasure of spending some time with this delightful family.  It had been about 10 years since they had professional pictures taken.  And the first time outside the mall;)  The main objective was to capture the family together.  They love being together and wanted pictures to capture this wonderful time in their lives. They truly enjoy their time together and it shows.

The Bigger the Better!

When it comes to family reunions this is definitely the case!!  I had the pleasure of being a part of this reunion for a couple of hours and didn't want it to end. What an amazing family they are!  The first time they had all been together in many years and I was lucky enough to capture it.  Thanks Paxton family for inviting me to share in a night of your week. Long Time No See

I apologize for my blog neglect!  Life has been busy and I have completely overlooked posting on my blog and I apologize for that. I have found Facebook to be a little bit faster these days so am usually posting there first and often not getting back around to post again here.  So if you've missed me I am sorry. I will try to do better. If you have not already, like my Facebook page as another way to stay in the loop.

This sweet family has brought me back to my blog.  It has been a couple of years since our last session and it was so great to see them again! The kids have grown so much and are as sweet as ever.  I always appreciate the ease of being with them and loved our time together.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

 

Loving the Perfect Light

It has been such a crazy fall and I have fallen behind on posting some of the amazing sessions I have had this year.  Loved my time with this family. We landed the most beautiful setting sun and took full advantage of the artistic moments that presented themselves.  We stumbled upon this shadow and had so much fun creating scenes.  Here are just a few I had to share before my 2012 season comes to a close in a few weeks. And Now There is 4

So happy to see this family again this year. They welcomed their sweet daughter this summer and it was great to finally meet her. What a doll she is:)  Life with two small children will definitely keep you on your toes. Our session was no different. But I am so happy with some of the great candids we got from the day. Sitting with baby was not exactly in the cards this year. This was his idea of a sibling shot.  Amazed she fit in that tiny little wagon.  Sometimes shots like this are just as fun!

Busy is a Blessing Right?

I am sorry for completely neglecting my blog! Life and work has been so crazy lately it has been all I can do to keep up.  Promise to get all of the work posted eventually but just might take me some time to catch up from the crazy fall holiday schedule.  Busy is a blessing right?  I keep telling myself that:)

I did have the pleasure of meeting up with the Philips family last weekend. So great to see them again. It has been about two years since our last session.  Busy themselves with work and raising boys I am so happy they made some time to come hang out with me:) Boys are getting so big and as cute as ever. Look at Those Baby Blues

So happy to photograph this sweet family. I was weak in the knees over the blue eyes on this little one.  Always have been amazed by the combination of dark hair and bright blue eyes!  As a brown eyed girl it was never an option for me.  She is just a doll and recently celebrated her 1st birthday.  So glad we could get everyone together to document this special time in pictures.

 

Blonde Beauties

Last weekend I was lucky enough to photograph these adorable girls. Every bit as sweet as they are pretty!  Had a blast and landed another beautiful August morning. We have been so fortunate this month as it almost feels like we have hit September a little bit early.    Enjoy a little look into our session and time together:)
