First Communion Minis

I love capturing this special time in the lives of these second graders preparing for their first communions.  I have been fortunate the last two years to offer mini sessions to capture this big step.  The girls looked just beautiful in their sweet dresses!  Wanted to share just a few from the day:)

 

 

Edie and Josh

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Edie and Josh. What a spectacular day it was!! Beyond the fact that it was the most perfect weather day, love was in the air. These two could not have been more sweet or in love. I cherished every minute of this day and being a part of this special occasion. Below are just a few of my favorites. There are so many favorites, it was hard to even scratch the surface. But I will give it a try:)

First Communion Just Days Away

I recently had the pleasure of meeting these adorable second graders from Holy Redeemer Catholic School. They are all preparing for their First Holy Communion in a couple of weeks. We got together for some mini-sessions to capture this special time in their lives. We took a lot of pictures some formal, some more modern and of course a few artistic:) I had a nearly impossible time picking just two from each child. But here a few of my favorites from the day. Stephanie and Jay

What a treat it was for me to capture this special time for Stephanie and Jay. Just two months shy of their wedding day in June, I was thrilled to be a part of their engagement session. Stephanie is a good friend of mine from FSU and we are so thrilled that she has met such a great guy. This was actually the first time I have had the pleasure of meeting Jay. They met in France....so romantic...and he lives in Kansas. They make such a super couple! I loved the time I had with them and getting to know Jay. Thanks for being such great sports! Congratulations on your engagement!! Looking forward to your sharing in your wedding day soon:) Enjoy a little sneak peak into our time together.

Multitasking Mom

As mothers our survival on the planet is based on our ability to multitask. That is an understatement with this working mom of three little ones all under the age of 4! A baptism and birthday party were on the agenda for today. Why not all the same guests were coming and to combine the two made perfect sense. Not to mention these siblings are quite fond of each other and I am sure they would not have wanted it any other way. First stop was the church for D's baptism and then home for a brunch and Minnie Mouse second birthday party.

So glad that I could share in both on this special day. It was a pleasure to be a part of all three baptisms. Enjoy a few highlights!!

Troy and Katy

I recently had the privilege of photographing Katy and Troy's wedding. What an honor it was to share in their special day. I met Katy at 8:30 for the start of her day. She was relaxed and easy going from that moment and stayed that way the entire day. I was so impressed! These two were just adorable and so in love. It was an absolutely beautiful day from start to finish.
