Fun with the McCoys

Always enjoy my time with this family!  The boys crack me up and the girls keeping them in line is even funnier. So happy to be able to catch up and spend some time with them again this year. Look forward to sharing your gallery soon. Until then, enjoy your sneak peek!

Formal to Fun

From formal to fun, we covered it all at this session.  So great to photograph this sweet girl again.  It has been two years since our last session and just like last time, I enjoyed every minute of it.  She was ready to shed the pearls and hit the river. Had lots of fun exploring and she was even brave enough to put her toes in...BRRR!  Thanks ladies for a fun time!  Enjoy just a few of my favorites:)

Loving the Perfect Light

It has been such a crazy fall and I have fallen behind on posting some of the amazing sessions I have had this year.  Loved my time with this family. We landed the most beautiful setting sun and took full advantage of the artistic moments that presented themselves.  We stumbled upon this shadow and had so much fun creating scenes.  Here are just a few I had to share before my 2012 season comes to a close in a few weeks. Enjoy!

Sandy Who?

Last week we braved the windy elements of Hurricane Sandy and kept our shoot scheduled as planned.  It was a cool day so started the shoot inside but had to take the kids outside for just a few. Always my favorite place to be:) We bundled up to get in the spirit of the holidays....and keep warm. I love photographing these kids.  They are always in good spirits and along for the ride.  And as you can see by the pictures, super models in the making too.

Weather was not ideal but so glad we rolled with it. Here are just a few of my favorites!

Jessica and Danielle

The majority of my sessions these days are with children which I love. But it is always a fun change for me to spend some time photographing young adults . Especially two as pretty as these ladies! I am fortunate as this is the third time I have had the opportunity. It doesn't seem possible but they just keep getting prettier and prettier:) Both in college now and doing so great!

Thanks ladies for coming back to see me:) So fun to catch up, meet the dog, boyfriend and hear all about school. We got some great ones and I look forward to sharing the gallery next week. Here are a few sneak peaks.

Fall Is In the Air

Fall is in the air and holiday sessions are in full swing. People are always asking me when booking sessions this time of year, when is peak leaf season. Well it is now. It varies a week give or take around Halloween. But those that picked this week are benefiting from the color.

I am so glad to have this family back again this year. It is always a treat to share photography with clients that love and appreciate the process. Mom loves taking pictures and makes annual photos a priority on her to do list. I hope you love your sneak peak. It was great to spend the time with you and I am excited to share your first look. Enjoy:)

For a Good Cause

This family was the winner of a silent auction item I donated for an event supporting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Always so great when you can support a local charity and get some new family photos out of it. I really enjoyed my time with the "Q" family. We kept it simple and easy by doing the session at home and not over thinking the details. Thanks for a fun session! I hope you love your first look:)

No Parents Allowed

Wanted to share some photos from a session with the Hall family last weekend. It was my first session ever where I took the kids off and we did the entire session away from Mom and Dad. It was fun and different to go this route as it allowed me to take some creative liberties and go with the kid's flow. We kept it easy, casual and close to home. I had a great time and I hope they did too. Enjoy a little look into our time together.
