Tutu Baby

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of shooting 10 month old "E". I missed out on the opportunity to photograph her as a newborn last December but am thrilled I got the chance this year. What a beautiful little girl and so smart too! She studied me much of the time, taking in everything I did. And actually at 10 months old, already has a "smile" she makes for the camera. I say "smile" because she really crinkles her nose and makes this sort of face like she is saying cheese. How does she know to do that already?? Mom had the idea to shoot her in a tutu. She bought the most adorable blue and purple one that will be her Halloween costume this year. Just adorable!

Two Sweet

I have had the pleasure of shooting this sweet little boy three times. I was so excited to spend some time with him and his parents last Friday as he prepared for his second birthday. Happy Birthday! The heat kept us adults on our toes but "C" didn't seem to mind. Here are a few of my favorites from the day. Hope they make you smile!

Rain Rain Go Away!

Well after days, and I mean days, of raining we had our first chance to head outside in quite sometime. Due to flooding in the area, school was cancelled today. It was a rain day which felt much like a snow day here in Atlanta. The kids were thrilled with the unexpected day of freedom. It was fun to play with a few of our friends. We headed out to see how our neighborhood lake had held up through the all of the storms. I brought my camera along to make sure it was not feeling neglected. After a few cancelled shoots due to weather over the last week, it was happy to be back in the game!

3 Weeks and Counting

What a great time I had on Saturday with these two adorable girls. They are both celebrating special times in their lives. "G" is preparing for her Bat Mitzvah in just three weeks and her big sister "M" has just begun her senior year. It is so much fun to capture these moments. I feel so lucky that I am invited to be a part of people's lives and share in these exciting times. They are such sweet girls and I look forward to celebrating with them in a few weeks!

And summer comes to an end....

With Labor Day behind us, it feels like summer is officially over. I was fortunate to spend the last few hours of the holiday on Monday with the "S" family. We were rained out last week but landed a beautiful evening this time around. It was a photographer's dream to work with this beautiful family at their home. I have so many favorites from the day it was difficult to select just a few. Enjoy your sneak peak!!

It's a new day!!

Welcome to my blog and my very first post!! After much consideration I have decided to enter the world of blogging. I am excited about the opportunity to share sneak peaks of sessions with clients and give viewers the ability to see just a few highlights from each of my sessions. I will keep you posted on a few of the things happening in my life and share some of my personal pictures as well .
